The included scenarios can be overwhelming, but simple yet believable engagements can be set up, and tailored to your taste in the included editor. Yeah it sure *is* hard to survive an engagement, but the basics are easy to learn, and it's great fun if you're looking for a good battlefield atmosphere and some realism. Within two days i had a gunnery score of 100%, was commanding two tank platoons with mechanized infantry attached, and blowing up t-80s at 1.8 kilometers distance.

I finally tried it out with the time limited 1 month license (like 10 Euro or something). But i guess tanks are just simpler machines than aircraft. (like the DCS Games for instance) And i don't have that much time and patience available any more these days.
